A Kent man tragically lost his life in a ferocious house fire at Salters Lane in Faversham which started just after midnight on 10 August 2024.
Emergency services including Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service responded promptly, and residents in the vicinity were urged to keep their windows and doors closed due to the heavy smoke in the area.
Around 50 firefighters, supported by ten fire engines and a height vehicle battled the blaze that engulfed the property and it was not until 06:00am on Saturday that the fire was eventually brought under control.
An investigation has now been launched into the cause of the tragedy.
