Five individuals have been charged following an extensive investigation into a suspected drugs network in east Kent.

On the morning of Thursday, 12 September 2024, police conducted searches at eight locations across Dover, Deal, Ramsgate, Chartham, and Dymchurch. During these operations, officers seized suspected class A drugs, cash, and weapons, including three imitation firearms and a knuckleduster.

On Friday, 13 September, three men were charged with conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine. Additionally, two 17-year-old boys from Dover were charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.

All suspects appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 13 September. The three men are scheduled to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 14 October, while the cases involving the two boys will be heard at Medway Youth Court on 19 September.

A 26-year-old man arrested during the investigation has been released on bail pending further inquiries. A 35-year-old woman was also arrested but later released without charge.
