Kent Fire and Rescue Services responded to a devastating explosion at a bungalow on Canterbury Road, in Charing just before midday on September 19.
Upon arrival, they found the property in ruins and a woman injured. She was swiftly airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London.
Today, 20 September, 2024, Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the woman has succumbed to her injuries. The investigation into the cause of the explosion is ongoing.
