Between 10 July and 25 August 2024, four thefts were reported at shops in Sittingbourne, Bobbing, Milton Regis, and Minster-on-Sea. Items stolen included food, alcohol, and laundry products worth over £170.
Stacey Willet, 22, from Sittingbourne, was arrested on 15 September and charged with four thefts. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 28 days in prison.
A 42-year-old man from Chatham, was arrested on the same day for stealing meat and alcohol worth over £130 from a petrol station in Rochester. He was also charged with previous thefts from a Co-op and Boots. He appeared in court on 17 September and was remanded in custody until 3 October.
