Kent Police are appealing for public assistance to identify five young suspects accused of causing significant damage to a farm’s CCTV system in Langley near Maidstone.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday, June 7, 2025, between 4:30pm and 4:50pm saw youths throwing rocks at a surveillance camera on Sutton Road, resulting in an estimated £1,500 in damages.

The suspects are described as white boys, aged approximately 11 to 15 years old.

Descriptions of the individuals are as follows:

  • Two had dark hair and were wearing dark-coloured long-sleeved tops.
  • One had dark blond or light brown hair styled in a slicked-back fashion, also wearing a dark-coloured long-sleeved top.
  • Another had strawberry blond hair and was dressed in a dark-coloured long-sleeved top.
  • The fifth suspect stood out with a bright blue baseball cap worn backwards and a bright yellow t-shirt featuring a black logo across the chest.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact the west Kent appeals line at 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/98271/25. Residents in the area with private CCTV systems and drivers who were in the vicinity at the time with dashcams are also encouraged to review their footage for anything that could assist the investigation.
