Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision between a car and a motorcycle in Longfield, Dartford, yesterday.
Kent Police were called to Main Road, near the junction with Station Road, at 5:08am on Thursday, June 26, 2025, after reports of a serious collision which involved a silver Yamaha MT10 motorcycle, reportedly driving west on Main Road, and a beige Vauxhall Zafira, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
Emergency services, including Kent Police officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The driver of the Vauxhall Zafira received treatment from paramedics at the scene.
Investigators from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now carrying out extensive enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash. They are particularly keen to speak with residents in the Hartley Road area who may have CCTV footage that could assist their investigation.
