Twelve homes across Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, and Tunbridge Wells were targeted in a three month wave of burglaries between October 9, 2023, and January 8, 2024. Three people have since been charged in connection with the incidents.
They are reported to have gained entry to properties through rear patio doors, conducting untidy searches before leaving the scene. In three instances, car keys were stolen along with the vehicles themselves, and on four occasions, jewellery was taken. Two suspects have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and laundering criminal property. A third person faces charges of laundering criminal property. All three are currently on bail and are scheduled to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on September 12, 2025.
