Police have charged a man with drug offences following an investigation into suspicious activity at a Medway property. The incident, which took place on Saturday, August 2, led to the seizure of what is believed to be cocaine, along with cannabis, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Officers responded to a report of suspicious behaviour near Chatham town centre and detained a man. A subsequent search of the property led to the discovery of the illicit items. The 41-year-old from the town was charged the next day with possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, and being concerned in their supply. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 4, and was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 1.
