A 79-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Sevenoaks at around 1.25pm on Tuesday 12 August 2025. The incident has prompted an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.

The pedestrian was crossing the road at the junction of Mount Harry Road and the A225, Dartford Road, when a red Mazda collided with him. Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene and transported the man to the hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. The driver of the Mazda stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry and is urging anyone who was in the area at the time to review their dashcam footage. Any information could be crucial to the ongoing investigation.
