A touring cyclist has been left stranded after his bicycle, laden with all his belongings, was stolen from outside Lydd Church this afternoon, 31 August 2025.
The theft occurred shortly after 1pm today when the cyclist had left his bike secured with a lock through the wheel while he visited the church. The bike was packed with all the gear he was using for his camping holiday.
Kent Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the stolen bike. If you have any information or have seen anyone with a bike carrying a lot of camping gear or other belongings, please call 999.
