Attendees were able to ride buses to the iconic landscape of Dungeness, where a regular procession of vintage vehicles mingled with the miniature trains of the RHDR. The rally offered a unique blend of experiences, from the open-top double-decker buses from Thanet and Brighton to a former BEA airport coach, each telling a story of Britain’s transport heritage.

The event was a paradise for transport lovers, with numerous stalls selling models and memorabilia, vintage taxis, vans, and even motorbikes on display. Train enthusiasts were also catered to, with three steam locomotives and one diesel engine operating on the RHDR. Among the trains was the “Northern Chief,” celebrating its centenary, providing a special highlight for many.
