A body has been recovered from the water at St Margaret’s Bay in Dover as part of the search for a missing Walmer woman.
Kent Police confirmed they were called to the scene at 12:55 pm on Monday, September 8, 2025. Officers worked alongside HM Coastguard to recover the woman’s body. While formal identification is pending, the family of a 45-year-old woman from Walmer, who was reported missing on Tuesday, September 2, has been notified. Police stated that the death is not considered suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
