Firefighters from Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) successfully put out a blaze that broke out on the roof of a flat on Albert Road in Ramsgate on Wednesday afternoon 17 September.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at 13:08 BST. Three fire engines and a height vehicle were dispatched to the scene to tackle the incident. Crews used high-pressure hose reel jets and a specialised fog spike to put out the flames.

The fire was brought under control and extinguished by 14:55 BST. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
