Ramsgate police have arrested a woman and seized a significant quantity of Class A drugs and over £2,000 in cash after stopping a vehicle for dangerous driving.

Police stopped the car on Avenue Road and conducted a search, discovering drugs believed to be cocaine on the driver. A subsequent search of the driver’s home turned up more than £2,000 in cash hidden in drawers and large bags of a substance believed to be cocaine. Officers also found drug-related paraphernalia, including scales and mobile phones, in the bedroom.
A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, simple possession of a Class A drug, and drug driving. She has since been released on bail as the investigation continues.
