CCTV footage has been released by officers investigating the cause of a fire on Northfleet High Street. Kent Police was called to the incident at the Portlands building at around 11.30pm on Sunday 26 October 2025.

Officers attended and opened an investigation after Kent Fire and Rescue Service had extinguished the blaze.
Detectives have been completing enquiries including door to door checks and reviewing CCTV from the area. They are now in a position to release images of two men they believe may be able to assist them in their enquiries. Investigators would also like to speak to the owner of a car seen near the scene at the time.
