A dangerous driving stop check in Strood has led to an arrest and the seizure of Class A drugs and cash.
Officers pulled over a Toyota Aygo in Maritime Close on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Following the discovery of a large quantity of cash on the driver, Police Dog Tilly assisted in a vehicle search. She located 14 bags of suspected Class A drugs and cannabis, found hidden in a sock under the driver’s seat.
A 41-year-old Gillingham man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, driving with no license, and no insurance. He remains in custody.
