Whitstable RNLI’s “Big Quiz” on Saturday evening successfully raised £1,650 for lifeboat funds.
The charity quiz was held at the South Quay Shed on Whitstable harbour, attracting 106 people forming 22 teams.
Tim’s Team were the eventual victors after tackling some tricky questions, including a reference to the film The Hunt for the Red October, which only one person answered correctly.
Fundraising Chair Pete Fenton thanked everyone for their support, including local businesses for raffle prizes and Naomi at the South Quay Shed for providing the venue free of charge.
