Kent Police was called to an incident in Earl Road involving a silver MG HS and a parked white Ford Transit panel van, at 2.10pm on Wednesday 26 November 2025 in which a pensioner was fatally injured.
Patrols and paramedics attended the scene and the car’s passenger was treated for a head injury. A 70 year old woman was taken to hospital where she later died on Monday 1 December.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now seeking witnesses, dashcam and CCTV footage to assist with their enquiries.
