Alkham Valley Road Safety Update
The Parish Council is escalating the issue of speeding and through-traffic to MP Mike Tapp, as current measures are insufficient (over 9,000 speeding vehicles recorded last year).
The Council is demanding:
- Physical traffic calming (build-outs).
- Lower speed limits along the full road length.
- 7.5-ton HGV restrictions.
