A collection of food and drink businesses serving delicious local produce are popping up in Clock Tower Square, leading on to the Marina Curve in Dover, with many more to come in time for the school summer holidays.
It marks the beginning of an ambitious longer term development plan for the Marina Curve recreational area.
The Pretty Bubbles Horsebox bar and Wills Soft Ice Cream are now open, and the Breakwater Brewery, Strawberry Hill Bistro, Big Pan Foods and KB Trading (hot drinks and snacks) will be the next to be ready soon.
This follows on from the Clock Tower Square opening in June, creating a large new outdoor space for the public to enjoy at the height of summer.
Jason Ransley, Property Business Development Manager at the Port of Dover said: “Our team has been working hard over many years to transform the Dover waterfront as part of the Dover Western Docks Revival Project. I’m really pleased to see the local community already appreciating the first of some ambitious plans for the Marina Curve leisure area and I look forward to it evolving even more in the future.
These pop ups provide the perfect opportunity for the public to relax and soak up the beach front atmosphere and I’m sure it will continue to provide the public with much enjoyment throughout the summer.”

Whilst some of the pop ups will remain on site each week, there will also be new ones opening on select weekends. The site will be open every day, with opening times varying depending on the weather, but in the height of summer, it will be accessible from 10am until 10pm.
