A tragic incident on the afternoon of Saturday, 25 April 2026, has claimed the life of a teenager near Sittingbourne, prompting an urgent appeal for information.
The collision occurred at approximately 4:50 PM on Lower Road in Tonge. Reports indicate that a black KTM Duke motorcycle was heading toward Teynham when it collided with a blue VW Transporter van travelling in the opposite direction toward Sittingbourne.
Emergency services attended the scene, but despite their efforts, the motorcyclist, a 17-year-old local boy, suffered fatal injuries and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are now working to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
