High value tools that are believed to have been stolen in a burglary in Faversham have been recovered by police.

At around 11.30am on Monday 21 February 2022 a patrol was alerted to a tracker activation of tools that were reported stolen from a building site in Western Link, Faversham a few days prior.

The officers followed the tracker which led them to Water Lane, Ospringe. The patrol signalled for the van to stop and detained the driver.

Two wacker plates, a pneumatic road gun, a circular saw and a mobile phone were among items seized by the officers.

A man in his thirties and from the Faversham area was arrested in connection with burglary and handling stolen goods. He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
