A game of two halves

Harveys Wine Bar 4  v Hawkinge 2
By  Cyril Trice

This was a game of two halves with the first half seeing the teams scoring two goals a piece although Hawkinge had to play catch up  from a goal down.

Both sides made many of errors to produce the goals.

I'm not sure what happened at half time, but the Hawks seemed to start the second half in slow motion whereas a refreshed  Harveys Wine Bar were much quicker on the ball and cut out most of the passes being made by Hawkinge.

The home team continued to press forward and in the last 15 minutes scored two more goals, leaving no chance for Hawkinge to come back and win this one.

There was no point in whining, Harveys were by far the better vintage in this game.
