Local webdesign company Deewebs have set up a special website, to help the fundraising effort for the Asian Tsunami Earthquake victims.

The website has been created especially to enable local organisations to communicate with each other, to advertise events that are being staged to help with the disaster relief effort, and to appeal for help and assistance.

Deewebs want anyone who is organising any fundraising event or appeal to send them the information which can be placed on the website.

A company spokesman said: "If we can consolidate our efforts here in South East Kent then we can maximise the huge effort being made by individuals and companies in the area".

Deewebs have arranged their own fundraising event at the New Inn, Etchinghill. Kent later in the month.

Details are printed below and can be found on the local fundraising site  and on the Daily Diary on the Gazette website
