Attempted theft from Motor vehicle

Various items inside the van have been moved about by the offender(s) but it is not clear whether in fact anything has been stolen.

Attempted Burglary

MILLFIELD CLOSE HAWKINGE, FOLKESTONE

Victim fiancée was in the bedroom cleaning the windows when she saw some marks o­n the window frames. The windows are made of UPVC and are double-glazed. The window is to the rear of the house. o­n the window frames it looks as if a jemmy or a screwdriver or similar implement has forced both windows.

Reached over gate at side of house and unbolted it. Levered hasp padlock off door. Nothing appears to be missing.

STONE STREET LYMINGE, FOLKESTONE

Victim left his vehicle parked securely and when he returned he found that the window had been smashed and his wife’s handbag stolen from under the rear seat.
