Articles: Human rights issue over church school closure plan

Have your say!

Dear Ed,

Re: I also have a duty to children at other local schools

With reference to your statement that our children would strengthen other schools within our area. Could you explain why, upon calling The Churchill, Hawkinge, Elham and Lyminge there are no spaces available.

So where do you propose our children strengthen? Perhaps the wonder School that is to be George Spurgeon at the cost of £3.5 million, strangely the same figures quoted for the savings on Selsted and the merging of Harcourt and Moorhall

Unless it escaped your notice there are no other Church of England schools in the area, so by not standing by us does this mean you are to persecute are children and ourselves for our Christian beliefs and values.

If so then surely there's a human rights issue to be addressed. Or perhaps such a school is magically going to appear overnight that fits the criteria you so dearly need !
