Reach Out Gospel Choir is a new all-access community choir for anyone who would like to sing gospel music.

It is the brainchild of Phil Hornsey from St Margaret's, who has worked as Musical Director for the Shakespeare for Kidz theatre group, as well as Marlowe Theatre pantomimes.

The music ranges from traditional and contemporary gospel songs, to R&B, funk and pop gospel arrangements.

Reach Out Gospel Choir meet every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9pm at the Barton Evangelical Church, 32 Barton Road, Canterbury.

Not sure about joining? Never fear…if you love singing, then that’s good enough!

The choir consists of people of all ages and singing abilities. There are no auditions to get in and you don’t need to be able to read music notation either. Whether you have lots of singing experience or none at all, all you need is enthusiasm.

Experience the joy. Be part of the fun. Leave with a huge smile!

For more information visit http://rogc.co.uk  or email Choirmaster Phil Hornsey at reachoutgospelchoir@live.co.uk .

They'd love to see you so come along and give it a try!
