Crime: Dover man arrested after microwave thrown at car windscreen

Kent Police Officers have arrested a man suspected of throwing a microwave into the windscreen of a parked car.


The 29-year-old was taken into custody on Wednesday 11 October 2017 on suspicion of causing damage to a total of five vehicles in the Lascelles Road area of Dover late last month.


· On Monday 18 September it was reported that a car had been damaged by an item thrown from a garden.

· On Wednesday 20 September the rear windscreen of the same vehicle was smashed.

· On Saturday 23 September it was reported that a man used a bat-like object to break the tail light of another car.

· On Monday 25 September it was alleged that a man damaged three vehicles including by throwing a microwave into the windscreen of one.

The arrested man has been released pending further enquiries.
