Family pay tribute to 32-year-old mother of two who died in collision at pedestrian crossing in Dover

The family of the 32-year-old woman who died after being taken to hospital following a serious collision in Dover has paid tribute to Heather Couchman.


The collision occurred at a pedestrian crossing near to the junction of Coombe Valley Road at around 2.42pm on Monday 4 December 2017.

A silver Toyota Avensis was involved along with 32-year-old Heather Louise Couchman, who sadly died in hospital on the evening of Tuesday 5 December 2017.


Her family have now issued the following statement:

‘We are all utterly devastated by the loss of a daughter, sister and mum. Heather was such a warm, kind, bubbly, generous and outgoing person. She was a fantastic mum to her two children, who meant the world to her. She was the youngest sister to an older sister and brother and was completely devoted to her family.

‘Heather has left a massive void in our lives and knowing we will never see her again is heart breaking and beyond words. Please can we ask that at this time the family’s privacy is respected as we try to come to terms with our loss.’
