CCTV images released after two teens with kitchen knife and hammer attempt to rob Folkestone shop

Officers investigating an attempted robbery in Folkestone have issued CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to as they may have information which could assist their investigation.



It was reported that at around 9.30pm on Saturday 7 January 2017 a member of staff working in a shop in Sidney Street was approached by two teenagers holding a kitchen knife and a hammer who threatened him and demanded cash.

The member of staff refused and the pair ran out of the shop turning left down Joyes Road towards Green Lane.


CCTV images released by Kent Police

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to identify the two people captured on CCTV as they may have information that will assist with their enquiries.
