Hundreds of litres of fuel siphoned from HGV parked on A20 near Folkestone whilst driver slept

Neighbourhood Watch has reported that an HGV driver parked up on the A20 between Dover and Folkestone had 300 litres of fuel siphoned from his talk whilst he slept.



Between  3.00 pm and 10.30pm on 28 January an articulated lorry which was parked up in a lay by between Dover and Folkestone on the A20 had 300 litres of fuel siphoned from its fuel tank whilst the driver was on a rest period.


NHW say: "This would have taken a while to do this but the driver did not see or hear anything - they were asleep in the cab of the vehicle."


The vehicle is a Volvo and has now left the country via Dover, however if you can assist in this please call 101 and quote crime number ZY/003727/17
