Three taken to hospital after substance sprayed at group of people in Canterbury

Police have reported that a substance was sprayed at group of people in Canterbury yesterday, 10 February.



At around 4pm on Friday 10 February Kent Police received reports stating an altercation had taken place in Canterbury.

It is reported that during this a substance was sprayed at a group of people in the Rheims Way and St Peter’s Place area.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy from London on suspicion of assault.

All of the people involved are believed to be known to each other.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called to the scene and three people were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service also attended to provide assistance.
