Alert over gas cylinders stolen from three different locations in Herne Bay and Whitstable area

Police are warning businesses in the Whitstable and Herne Bay areas to be vigilant following reports of thefts of gas cylinders stolen from three different locations in north Kent.



Gas cylinders were reported to have been taken from a caravan park in Faversham Road, Seasalter between 12pm on Wednesday 1 February and 10am on Monday 6 February.

Officers also received a report of theft of gas cylinders from a caravan park in Herne Common between 3.30pm on Friday 3 February and 8.30am on Saturday 4 February.

A garage on the Thanet Way near Chestfield also reported cylinders stolen between 11pm on Tuesday 7 February and 10am on Wednesday 8 February.
