Military medals and gold sovereigns stolen from man in his 90s in Kent village burglary

Kent Police is investigating a report of a burglary at an address belonging to a man in his 90s in Regent St, Rolvenden.
 




It is reported that between 4pm on Tuesday 27 December and 8.30am on Wednesday 28 December, 2016, a rear door and window were forced to get into the man's property.

A quantity of cash, gold sovereigns, two gold watches, a gold pendant on a chain and military medals were stolen. Five of the medals (pictured left) were awarded for service during the Second Word War and three relate to the First World War.
