Pair sought after man in his 40s needed hospital treatment following blow to the head as he walked through Ashford park

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward following a report of an assault in Jemmett Road, Ashford.


The incident was reported to have taken place in Victoria Park between 9pm and 9.15pm on Tuesday 21 February 2017 where a 46-year-old man was hit in the back of the head whilst walking through the park.



The man described two men wearing dark jogging bottoms and dark jackets who ran up behind him and then hit him in the back and front of the head, causing injuries to his face which required hospital treatment.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed anything or has more information.
