Police appeal over, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, bar assault by two men

Kent Police is investigating a report of an assault in Folkestone that happened around 11.50pm on Saturday 28 January 2017.




It is reported a man in his 30s who assisted door security at a bar in Castle Hill Avenue, suffered cuts and bruises when he was assaulted by two men.


A member of the public who was standing nearby tried to intervene and he was also reportedly assaulted by one of the two men.

One of the men is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with floppy ginger hair and wearing a white and blue checked shirt, jeans and trainers. It is reported he was involved in both assaults.

A 17-year-old man from Folkestone was arrested near the scene in connection with the incident and has been bailed to return to the police station on 15 February.
