Crime: Police appeal after incident involving man in his 50s and 15-year-old girl in Folkestone

Kent Police is appealing for information following an incident in which a teenage girl was approached by a man in Folkestone.


It was reported that the man made inappropriate comments of a sexual nature towards the 15-year-old before walking away.

The incident happened on the corner of Wilton Road and Cornwallis Avenue, at about 1.40pm on Monday 13 March 2017.

No other offences were alleged.

The man is described as being in his 50s, about 6ft, of heavy build, with tanned skin, short brown hair and stubble on his face. He spoke with a foreign accent and was dressed all in black with a jacket, ankle-length trousers, work boots and a rucksack.
