Contributed by editor on Apr 19, 2017 - 05:25 PM

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a reported traffic incident in which a black Volkswagen Golf was damaged by another driver at about 4.45pm on Monday 3 April 2017.

The vehicle had overtaken a modified Vauxhall Astra between Pluckley and Hothfield, which caught up with the victim’s car as it reached the junction with the A20 Ashford Road.

It was reported that the driver of the Astra attempted to open the door of the Golf before causing damage to the vehicle including smashing a wing mirror.

The victim drove away in the direction of Ashford but was followed by the man in the Astra, who again caught up at Drovers Roundabout and is reported to have caused further damage to the vehicle by kicking a back door.

Can you help?

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/13166/17. Alternatively call Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
