Events: What's On in Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh this weekend?

Painting a mural an evening with Shakespeare or maybe you're looking for the wild life in Elham, these are some of the eclectic events in Shepway over this weekend 21 - 23 April.


East Cliff Sports, Wear Bay Road open every day until September for pitch and putt golf, putting, bowls and lawn tennis. £12 family ticket for pitch and putt or Bowls. Tennis £5 per court. No need to book, simply turn up.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Folkestone Harbour Arm. Various events, music and food all weekend. Folkestone Seafront - Harbour Arm?

Friday - Roller Disco at Hawkinge Community Centre. 7.30pm - 9pm. @HawkingeCommunityCentre

Friday - An evening with Shakespeare – AARRC. 7pm - 9.30pm 17-19 Tontine Street.

Friday - Fishing History and Heritage Museum at The Old Booking Hall, Folkestone Harbour. 10am – 4pm. A collection of photographs and sea-fishing gear including models of fishing boats is run by a very friendly team of enthusiasts. Open every week day from now until September.

Friday and Saturday Spring Food and Gift Fair in Folkestone Precinct by Debenhams and WH Smith 9am – 5pm. Folkestone Festival?

Saturday - Wildlife above Elham. A spring time walk around the countryside of Elham with The White Cliffs Countryside Project. Meet outside Elham Methodist Church 2pm.…/

Saturday - Painting a mural. Folkestone Art Society. Sunflower House 10 – 12noon active_tab=discussion

Saturday - Viking shield Regatta, Folkestone Rowing Club, Sandgate. 10.30am - 6pm

Saturday - Folkestone Amateur Buskers, Open Mic at The Leas Bandstand. 2pm – 5pm

Sunday - St. George’s Day Parade on The Leas, Folkestone from 11am.

Sunday – St George’s Day Parade, Coronation Square, Lydd from 3pm.

Sunday - Sandgate Arts and Crafts Spring Fair. Chichester Memorial Hall. 10am - 4pm

Sunday - Come and try bowls! 10am – 1pm New Romney Bowls Club, Sussex Road
