Folkestone Festivals to host world famous Gurkha Band at popular Annual Concert

Folkestone Festivals has said it's delighted to have the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas playing in the town.
 

 


Folkestone Festivals will be hosting an evening of classical, Nepalese, contemporary western music and dance by The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas at the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone.

The world famous 45 piece band has played its popular annual concerts to big audiences at the Hawkinge Community Centre for the last three years.

Shepway District Council is supporting the concert, and has provided use of the Leas Cliff Hall for this year's event, which is to be held there on Friday 19th May at 7.30pm.

The evening will be raising funds for the Gurkha Welfare Trust and Gurkha Memorial Fund.
