Motorcyclist remains critical after crash in Chilham near Canterbury

Kent Police was called to a report of a collision which took place at approximately 3.35pm on Tuesday 9 May 2017 on the A28 Ashford Road, Chilham.


The collision involved a blue Honda motorcycle and a red Ford Focus Zetec car. Both vehicles were travelling from Ashford towards Canterbury at the time.

The rider suffered serious injuries and was flown to a London hospital by air ambulance. He remains in a critical condition.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle prior to the incident, who has not already spoken to officers.

In particular officers would like to speak to the driver of a car which was reportedly attempting to turn right into a track in front of the two vehicles just before the collision.
