Folkestone and Hythe fun at the weekend

Sunshine and showers maybe forecast for the weekend but their is still lots going on in Folkestone and Hythe.

 


Saturday

The Folkestone Swing Band will be at the The Folkestone Academy from 9.30am you can come along and listen have a coffee or even have ago.

The Grand, Folkestone have a Spring Art Exhibition happening between 10am and 5pm.

Strange Cargo - Arts have from the Pacific to the Atlantic and the gallery is open 11am to 4pm.

Curious crafts and tearoom in Cheriton have Tarot and tea party which will be on from 11am.

Block 67 Free Drop In Family Workshop: Big Paint between 11am and 3pm.

There is a celebration for the 90th year of the very best of the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. This will feature the most unusual timetable to date, all kicking off from 9.30am - more information on their website www.rhdr.org.uk 

Folkestone Quarterhouse Performance artist Byron Vincent has decided to face his fears. The performance will start at 4.30pm.

Twisted Cauldron Gaming they have X Wing Store Championship happening between 7pm and 10pm.

Lime Bar Cafe with Carol Grimes, Richard Bundy and Annie Whitehead performing from 8pm until 11pm.

Todger are performing at The Harp Restrung from 8pm.

Golden Arrow Live Band – Cuda are playing music from the 60s onwards.

Sunday

Folkestone Karate and Martial Arts Club IKK Open and Novice Knockdown Tournament, this is from 9am.

The Grand, Folkestone they have a Spring Art Exhibition happening between 10am and 5pm.

The Chambers have Fredericks Unique Sunday Service this is between 12pm and 6pm.

Pokemon In House Tournament happening at Chaos Cards Tabletop Gaming Centre that will be from 11am.

If you’re interested in TWERKING yes I said that right then head to Pole Nouveau with Odette, between 4:15pm –5:45pm.

St Augustine's Centre have a Charity Talent Show, which is in aid of Headway East Kent the event will be running between 4.30pm and 7pm.
