Three charged over aggravated burglary in Canterbury

Three men have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary reported in Canterbury.



A 25-year-old man from Wood Green, a 28-year-old man also from Wood Green and a 19 -year-old man of no fixed address, were arrested near the scene of the incident in Edgar Road, in the early hours of Wednesday 2 November 2016.

All three have been charged with aggravated burglary while the 25-year old is also accused of possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and possession of cocaine.

The 28-year-old faces additional charges of dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance, and the 19-year-old is accused of possession of cocaine.

The men will all appear before Margate magistrates on Tuesday 30 May 2017 in connection with the burglary, which is being investigated by officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
