A man has been charged with the murder of a 75-year-old in Faversham


Anthony Goodwin, 62, of Crispin Close, Faversham has been charged with the murder.

Kent Police was called at 4.50pm, on Friday 19 May 2017, to a report that a man had died at an address in Crispin Close. Goodwin was arrested on suspicion of murder the same day.

The victim has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed. The victim and the suspect are believed to have been known to each other.

Goodwin has been remanded in custody and will appear by video-link before Medway Magistrates Court on Monday 22 May 2017.

Detectives from Kent and Essex's Serious Crime Directorate are continuing to ask anybody who has information in relation to this incident to call 101, quoting reference 19-952.
