Police launch appeal after four reportedly flee car crash in Ramsgate

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses after four people allegedly fled the scene of a single car collision in Ramsgate on Friday 12 May 2017.

 


The people, believed to be teenage boys, fled from a red Vauxhall Corsa after it collided with a lamppost and a wall in Dumpton Park Drive at around 4.30am.

The four initially left on foot in the direction of Hereson Road. Two returned shortly afterwards and then left by a nearby alleyway before officers arrived.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or have information about the identity of the teenage boys.

Witnesses are asked to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference number 12-0129.
