Kent Police has released images of gold jewellery reported stolen during a burglary in Dover.


The burglary is reported to have taken place at a house in Nightingale Road between 4.40pm and 5.10pm on Thursday 18 May 2017.

A number of items of gold jewellery, including necklaces, wedding rings, earrings and a bangle were taken during an untidy search of the property.

Investigating officer Police Constable Kirsty Gee said: ‘I am asking the public to take a look at the jewellery and if they see any of the items for sale either locally or online to contact us.’

She is also appealing for witnesses to phone Kent Police.

She said: ‘Three men were seen running along Nightingale Road shortly after the burglary.

‘We are keeping an open mind as to whether or not they were connected to the incident but would like to hear from anyone who recognises their descriptions as they could have vital information for our investigation.’

The three men were all described as white and in their mid-20s. One was about 5ft 5in tall and was wearing a white tee-shirt and baggy blue jeans. The second was 5ft 8in tall and was wearing a blue or black sports tee-shirt. The third was 6ft and of a slim build. All three ran off towards Barton Road.
