Pedestrian flown to London hospital after being hit by car on Romney Marsh

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Heath Road, Appledore yesterday afternoon.


The incident occurred at 4.40pm on Wednesday 24 May 2017 when a red Citroen C3 car was in a collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 72-year-old woman, was flown to a London hospital for treatment where she remains in a stable condition.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the woman or driver in the moments before the collision.
