What better way to soak up the spring sunshine than meandering through Ashford’s cobbled streets and browsing tasty treats from traders at Ashford Farmers’ Market.

The market takes place on Sunday 7th May between 10am and 2pm on the lower High Street and will be brimming with local traders selling delicious home-grown produce.

This month is welcoming two new traders to the market - the Coffee and Waffles Wagon and Katy and the Bear.

Visitors can treat themselves to a delicious hot waffle drizzled with a tasty topping from the Coffee and Waffles Wagon, all washed down with a lovely fresh coffee.

If you’re looking for a unique gift idea, Katy and the Bear will be selling a variety of handmade crafts, from stylish prints and photographs to personalised posters and invitations. You can also browse and buy more from the collection by visiting the Made in Ashford store in Park Mall.

Fancy a bite for lunch - then head over to Janet’s Soul Food where you can tantalise your taste buds with hot savoury snacks, or pop over to Gary’s Artisan Bakery and Enzo’s Bakery to try some fresh bread and pastries.

Visitors can also listen to popular 50s and 60s tunes from DJ Gideon as they meander through the market’s cobbled streets.

Parking is free in Edinburgh Road car park all day for shoppers.
