Police want to talk to motorist who reportedly drove off after collision with motorcyclist in Broadstairs

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a crash between a car and a motorcycle that happened at around 8am on Monday 1 May 2017 in Broadstairs.

 

 

The incident happened at the Beacon Road junction with Reading Street Road where it is reported there was a collision involving a black Honda motorcycle and a grey car.

Officers were called to the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service where a woman received what was believed to be minor injuries.

The woman, in her 20s, was riding the motorcycle in the direction of Convent Road when the collision took place. The driver of the grey car had left the scene before police officers could speak to him.

Investigating officer, Police Constable Chris Radley, said: ‘We would really like to speak to the driver of the grey car to establish the circumstances of this incident and anyone else who may have information that can help this investigation.’
