Dover man charged with modern day slavery offences

A man from Dover has been charged with modern day slavery offences involving a woman.



The charges relate to an incident involving a woman between August and November 2016.
The 29-year-old has been charged with four sex offences and allegedly forcing a person to perform labour.

Kent Police officers investigating a report of modern day slavery have charged the man from Dover with five offences.

He has been bailed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 14 June 2017.
